I've been on hiatus for far too long. Over the last year, my art somehow fell by the way side between graphic design at college, working full time all summer, and writing novels in the gaps I find in between.
I've been feeling a little more free since I moved in September, and although I'm usually ignoring my homework as a result, I've been creating more. I've been leaning more towards my postcard sized work, focusing on tiny details. It's therapeutic, in a weird way, and although I'd love to buy a few four foot canvases to play with, it's been really interesting to get back to down into smaller mediums.
I have some new work that I'll be uploading either tonight or tomorrow, all of which will be for sale.
I've finished the second series in 'A Woman Cut to Pieces' which has been such a long time in the making. I also completed a series of five graphite portraits with stylized anatomies. I also have my first vulva ink painting, which I'm positive is going to be the first in a very long, long line.
I don't dedicate nearly the time to this website that I used to, but art is still my life. It's been a long, long winter, and I'm ready to bloom again.
